The knee is the largest joint in the body. Whether walking, bending or with activities, the knee is vital while standing or in motion. Most of us move without giving our knees a second thought… until they become injured or if pain develops.

There are many factors or causes contributing to knee pain, some of which include:

Instability - the knee may feel loose or weak.

Tenderness in the back of the knee.
Hearing a popping or crunching sound.
